Three former motorcycle racers were interviewed on Saturday at 3:30 PM in hall 7

Didier de Ragiuès, Michel Vanneste, and Julien van Zeebroeck will be interviewed on Saturday, January 20, about their illustrious motorcycle past. This interview will take place at the BAS Theatre in hall 7.

Didier de Radiguès: In 1979, Didier de Radiguès began his career in the 500cc class, the predecessor to the current MotoGP. His most successful season was in 1982 when he participated in the 350cc championship. In this season, he achieved impressive performances, winning both the Grand Prix of Italy at the Monza circuit and the Grand Prix of Czechoslovakia at the Brno circuit.

Michel Vanneste: Mr. Michel Vanneste is known, among other things, for the duo he formed with his brother Serge in sidecar racing. Together, they competed in various races in this discipline, embracing the inherent dangers. Riding the BMW with a sidecar, they contested numerous races throughout Europe that did not go unnoticed.

Julien van Zeebroeck: Julien van Zeebroeck is a former Belgian motorcycle racer. His most notable seasons were in 1974 and 1975 when he secured third place in the 50cc class of the Road Racing World Championship. He earned the honor of being the first Belgian to win a race in the World Championship since its inception in 1949.
